Hello, Here are two cards made with the Lola Rose occasions stamps from Pink Petticoat, I love these images as there's so much you can do with them. I have lots of ideas for them, but am just trying to find the time to put them to paper, so to speak. I'm having a bit of a red and black, pink and black thing at the mo, as you can see. The pink one looks a bit wonky in the pic, must be my dodgy photography : )

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, been very busy, so I thought I would take 5 Min's to show you some new cards. here's a valentine one made with the 'just an old fashioned girl' kit from pink petticoat. The kit is great and I have lots of plans to use it again.

Hearts

Hi, Just a little post today to show you two cards I made for the Secret Crafter Challenge, which is hearts. I used my new Elzybells stamp Raining hearts. The papers on both are from papercraft inspirations and the embellishments on the pink card I pinched from a card someone sent to me! Hope you like them. Thanks for looking Xxx

Christmas Showcase

Happy New Year Everyone!! I hope you all had a good Christmas and Santa was good to you. Due to me being so busy over the festive period and not having time to post I thought I would do my very own little showcase of the cards I made.
Some of them I'm really pleased with and others not so, but hey ho. The stamps I used have come from elzybells and Lili of the valley and most of the papers are Funky Fairy. This year I will be more organised and start them earlier so I don't have a mad panic (yeah right!!)
My Mom bought me a X cut impress machine for Christmas, I hadn't asked for one so it was a total surprise. I have had a little go with it but am yet to get stuck in. I do have a Thank you card to make though, so watch this space!

One card and a cake

Here is my card for the secret crafter challenge. I really enjoyed this sketch and will definitely use it again. The stamp is by magnolia and the papers are from the Funky fairy free Halloween download. I think they work really well, the sentiment I made on my PC again, I really love the font

And talking of Halloween I thought I would share this pic of the Halloween cake I made for my moms party. We had a great time. Jack dressed up as a vampire and loved making lots of OOOH noises. lol. Hope you like them both

sketch Saturday # 24

Here is a card I made for my cousin Christopher on behalf of my Nan, using the sketch on Sketch Saturday this week. I sort of went a bit wrong as in you can't really see the two background papers properly. Still, I'm really happy with the result, and I hope Nan will be too.

The stamp I used is from elzybells and the papers are actually Christmas papers that I had left over. The sentiment I made on my PC.

Let it Snow

I've been dying to make some glittery snowflakes for ages, and now Ive finally been given the chance. The challenge on secret crafter this week is blue, white and a little bit of a snowflake. I combined this with the sketch over on sketch Saturday and here is the result. I really enjoyed this challenge even if I did spend the rest of the day with glitter all over my face!

The stamp is by lili of the valley and the papers are by Funky fairy. I really like this sketch so I might use it on my moms birthday card too, watch this space, lol.

secret crafter #2

I made this card for my mom on behalf of my lovely Nan, the sketch is from secret crafter challenge, I love pink and grey together and I think this card looks a little wintery but not too cold. Perfect for this time of year and my mom loves pink, just like me, so I know she will love this card. both stamps are from magnolia and the sentiment I made on my PC.

At last I've got 5 minutes peace and quiet, so I thought I'd show you the card I made for the sketch Saturday challenge. This is a great sketch, the stamp is from elzybells and the paper is from funky fairy doodlementals. Originally I was going to use a plain pink background but it was way too girly, I think it works so much better with this background. The daisy stamp is by denami design and both coloured in water colour pencils

Sorry about the picture quality but I had to use my mobile phone my camera has a dead battery. Thanks for looking Xxx

Trick or Treat

The challenge on Funky Fairy this week is to make a Halloween card using these fab free papers, so I decided to make this card on behalf of my little boy for his Grandma. She is having a Halloween party and Jack will be going as a vampire, so this stamp from cc designs is perfect and I coloured it to match his costume.

The sketch is from a new challenge blog I stumbled upon, Secret Crafter, and is a great one which I will definitely use again, just like the papers. Thanks again Funky Fairy for another great freebie. XXX
